In pipeline valve stations and offshore extraction platforms in cold zones, hydrocarbon leaks present highly explosive risks. Our Triple IR (IR3) flame detectors monitor three separate bands within the infrared spectrum (primarily targeting the 4.4-micron carbon dioxide emission spike). This design ensures reliable detection of hydrocarbon fires through dust, oil vapor, and snow, preventing false alarms from solar radiation or high-temperature piping.
With the shift toward clean energy, hydrogen gas usage is expanding. Hydrogen fires emit no carbon dioxide and are virtually invisible to the naked eye and standard IR3 detectors. We offer specialized UV/IR and Multi-IR detectors optimized for the narrow UV spectrum of hydrogen combustion (typically 185-260 nm) and customized IR frequencies, ensuring early warning before flames spread.
