Description

The XP4000 is a high-performance explosion-proof multi-gas detector tailored for intelligent monitoring of oxygen, toxic gases and VOCs in complex industrial scenarios. It features a robust explosion-proof and dust-ignition-proof structure, complying with global safety regulations for hazardous area equipment. Different from the dual-wire design of the XP3000, this model uses a three-wire terminal structure, making wiring more standardized and suitable for large-scale systematic deployment. The digital sensing module supports calibration-free on-site replacement, ensuring detection stability and reducing maintenance downtime. With an IP66 ingress protection rating, it adapts to severe industrial environments with high dust, humidity and temperature changes. It is equipped with a high-brightness digital tube display, ensuring clear readings even in poor lighting conditions. A standard expansion interface is integrated, supporting 4-20mA, HART, RS485 and relay output, enabling flexible access to different monitoring and control systems. It also provides dual independent relay outputs with separate high and low alarm functions, supporting graded alarm and linkage control. This model serves as a core component for intelligent safety systems, widely used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, environmental monitoring and other industries requiring high-standard multi-gas detection.

Sensor Features

Semiconductor Type High Sensitivity: Low-concentration gases can be detected with obvious electrical signal variations.
Fast Response: Quick detection is achievable as semiconductor electrical conductivity changes rapidly when adsorbing gases.
Broad-Spectrum: Capable of detecting the majority of volatile organic compound (VOC) vapors.
Long Lifespan & Cost-Effectiveness: With a simple structure, low production cost and stable long-term performance, it is well-suited for cost-sensitive applications.
Infrared (IR) Type Mature Compensation Technology: Non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) with dual detectors (measurement/reference channels) is adopted to offset environmental interference, improving detection accuracy.
High Sensitivity & Stability: Gas detection relies on the characteristic absorption of specific infrared wavelengths by gases, which is not affected by oxygen concentration.
No Poisoning Risk: No chemical reactions take place, avoiding sensor degradation caused by gas contact.
Low Power Consumption: Ideal for long-term continuous monitoring.
Works in Oxygen-Free Environments: Can operate without oxygen involvement.
Fast Response, Low Maintenance, Long Lifespan: The simple mechanical structure ensures little performance degradation over time.
Electrochemical Type High Precision (ppm-Level): Extremely low concentrations of toxic gases can be detected, usually with ppm-level detection limits.
Linear Output: There is a linear relationship between gas concentration and signal, which is convenient for quantitative analysis.
High Selectivity: Equipped with gas-specific electrode reactions, it can resist cross-interference (e.g., CO-dedicated electrodes are hardly affected by hydrogen).
Stable Performance: Long-term drift is minimal.
Photoionization (PID) Type Extremely High Precision (ppb~ppm-Level): It can detect extremely low concentrations of VOCs.
Linear Output: The correlation between gas concentration and signal is linear, allowing for precise measurement.
Fast Response: Signal changes are detected instantly when UV light excites gas molecules to generate ions.
Broad-Spectrum: Applicable to most volatile organic compounds (VOCs) (e.g., benzene series, halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, etc.).
