How the integration of IoT, AI diagnostics, and seismic shut-off capabilities is revolutionizing global gas pipeline management.
Traditional manual safety valves are rapidly being replaced by automatic shut-off systems that trigger during abnormal gas velocity, excessive pressure drops, or seismic vibrations. Modern global regulations demand active sub-second response times to prevent catastrophic gas leaks in high-density urban residential zones and sprawling chemical plants.
The industrial landscape is moving towards integrated networks where gas shut-off valves communicate directly with wireless pressure sensors, flame detectors, and central SCADA platforms. Leveraging low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN) like LoRaWAN, smart municipal grids can identify leaks and isolate sub-sections instantly.
Regulatory frameworks across Europe, North America, and APAC now enforce Safety Integrity Levels (SIL2 and SIL3) for gas processing hardware. This necessitates certified explosion-proof valves, rigorous measurement verification under CPA, and traceable calibration protocols which dictate the purchasing patterns of international engineering firms.

Founded in 2003, Xinhaosi is one of the most influential and trusted brands in the global gas safety industry. Over the past two decades, we have steadily built a robust and comprehensive production and service system, which integrates cutting-edge R&D, intelligent manufacturing with advanced automation equipment, digital marketing across global channels, professional after-sales support with an experienced technician team, flexible OEM/ODM services, as well as CNAS-Accredited laboratory calibration services that meet international standards.
We produce and sell tens of millions of units annually, catering to a wide range of industries that demand reliable gas detection solutions, including oil & gas exploration and production, petrochemicals, urban gas distribution, automotive manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, new energy, steel production, and beverage processing.
Adhering to ISO9001 quality management system standards, Xinhaosi's core products have obtained a full range of authoritative certifications, including national compulsory Products Certification, explosion-proof certification, fire product certification, CPA measurement instrument type approval certificate, and international approvals such as CE and SIL. Additionally, Xinhaosi holds honors such as "National Quality Integrity Benchmark Enterprise" and "National Quality Leading Enterprise in the Gas Alarm Industry," is a member of the China Fire Protection Association, and serves as the main drafting organization for the national standard of solenoid valves, further confirming its industry influence and reputation.
In the field of intellectual property, Xinhaosi has built a robust innovation system with over 50 patents and software copyrights. These patents cover core technological areas, including a graphical monitoring system for gas detection and alarm, which enables predictive maintenance based on historical data to reduce equipment failure rates by over 30%, and a solenoid valve with flow monitoring functionality that integrates flow detection and alarm capabilities. The company also pioneered China's first networked bus-type gas leakage monitoring system and the only maximum-point gas leakage monitoring system certified by the Ministry of Public Security, demonstrating its leading position in cutting-edge technological research.
Our in-house laboratory is accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), recognized both domestically and internationally under the ILAC-MRA framework. It operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. It provides reliable and traceable testing services for gas detection and alarm products, solenoid valves, and related safety equipment. Test reports issued by the CNAS-accredited laboratory are widely accepted by regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and customers in China and overseas, helping to ensure product quality, safety compliance, and market access.
Leveraging high automation, local industrial ecosystems, and advanced robotics to deliver cost-effective and ultra-reliable natural gas safety shut off valves globally.
At our Deyang and Chengdu production bases, CNC machining centers and robotic assembly lines process specialized aluminum and brass valve bodies. Automation ensures dimensional tolerances down to the micrometer level. This precision guarantees that our industrial safety solenoid valves retain perfect sealing and structural integrity even after thousands of cycles.
Every single natural gas shut off valve we produce undergoes automated helium mass spectrometer leak testing and pressure testing to ensure 100% bubble-tight sealing. Our protocol demands testing at 1.5 times the maximum rated operating pressure, guaranteeing zero leakage and absolute safety before leaving the factory floor.
By controlling both R&D and final assembly, Xinhaosi offers agile custom tailoring of valve ports, voltage ratings, and connection threads (NPT, BSP, or Flanged). Operating within the robust industrial corridor of Southwest China, we maintain partnerships with top material refineries to bypass supply bottlenecks and guarantee stable pricing.

Within highly explosive environments, our explosion-proof gas detectors (such as the GTYQ-AT0502) coordinate with heavy-duty solenoid valves (CT-XF5 and XF5III) to implement instant emergency shutdowns (ESD) when hydrocarbons are detected.
We supply China's top 5 gas distributors with automated smart pressure monitors (GT-AT0637) and networked shut-off valves. This provides continuous sub-surface monitoring, automatically closing downstream segments in case of rupture or localized pressure collapse.
From central kitchens to industrial factories, our bus-type safety systems link gas detectors with low-voltage power units (AT2031XE) and rapid solenoid shut-off valves to shield high-traffic locations from fire and blast hazards.
Over two decades of dedication, technical breakthroughs, and sustainable expansion.
Detailed technical answers for procurement directors, project managers, and utility engineers.
Normally Open (N.O.) valves, like our XF5III and XF3III series, remain open under normal operation without power. They require a brief electrical pulse (from a gas detector or system controller) to snap shut. Normally Closed (N.C.) valves require continuous power to stay open, shutting automatically if power is lost. N.O. systems are generally preferred in municipal gas piping to reduce power consumption and prevent false shut-offs during power outages.
CNAS accreditation means our laboratory meets ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Testing reports are globally traceable and recognized via the ILAC-MRA framework. This ensures that the safety specifications, explosion-proof ratings, and flow characteristics declared by Xinhaosi are fully verified, simplifying local regulatory approvals for import, installation, and commissioning.
We utilize high-quality cast brass and anodized aluminum alloys, paired with NBR or FKM sealing components. These materials offer excellent resistance to wet natural gas, impurities, hydrogen sulfide, and low-temperature environmental cracking, ensuring a service life exceeding 10 years in diverse field conditions.
Our AI safety valves communicate with wireless pressure monitors like the GT-AT0637. If the pressure monitor detects a sudden drop—indicative of a downstream pipeline rupture—it transmits a signal to the controller or directly to the safety valve. The valve then triggers an emergency closure within 1 second, limiting gas escape and minimizing safety hazards.
Our industrial and residential solenoid valves feature a fast-closing mechanism. When powered by a 24VDC or 220VAC impulse, the electromagnetic mechanism activates, allowing the valve to snap shut in under 0.5 seconds, isolating the gas flow near-instantly.
